CMI, was established with a divine vision to bless and liberate the poor, heal the broken-hearted, and to care for orphans and widows. We provide essential services in the form of Child Development Centres, safe drinking water, Tailoring Centres equipping women, food distribution, Disability Ministry, Orphanage & School projects. We believe in taking action with to make a positive change in all of our pursuits.
Our Programs
At Christ Mission India, our initiatives continue to reach into regions that are typically unreached communities. Below are some of our most recent projects. Learn more about what we do, who we help, and how we work to create a lasting impact.
HOPE Centres
Children
Many of our villages do not have schools or any educational institutions. Children live in such poor circumstances and live in the slums and colonies. So we set up informal schools to educate and care for these unschooled children. Children come 4 hours every day for education. This project makes a dynamic transformation in the lives of these children and their parents. We provide care and support to these children who come from the slums, the streets, poverty stricken homes and jails where they have suffered cold, hunger and have been abused by others, and have suffered many other indescribable cruelties. At present we have 4 hope centers’s and adopted almost 200 children. We are looking forward start more such centers in the rural villages to educate the unprivileged children in the coming days.
Bore Well Project
Safe Drinking Water
Many of our villages neither have clean water resources nor sewerages in the rural villages. People travel far distances to collect water. Women and children especially bear the burden of walking miles to gather water from streams and ponds - full of water-borne diseases that are making them and their families sick. Most of them live in poor circumstances and cannot afford a deep Bore well. So we make 400 feet deep Bore wells in the villages and provide them clean and safe drinking water. Bore wells are the greatest need in North India today.
Tailoring Center
Equiping Women
Most of the women in the villages are illiterate and not working. They face many challenges like poverty, abuse, discrimination etc. We provide 6 months free training in Tailoring and provide a Tailoring machine after the completion of their course. It changes their lives and brings a big transformation in their lives as well in their communities.
Food Distribution Centres
Meeting urgent needs
There are so many widows and orphans in our villages who do not have sufficient food and go through poverty as well face many difficulties. Through our Food distribution centers we provide free food packets to the needy on every Saturday’s. It became a great blessing to so many people.
Disability Ministry
Enable mobility
CMI has been engaging in providing wheelchairs and other needed resources and medical aid to the disabled people specially in the rural villages in North India. There are lots of people who are in need of wheel chairs. In recent years we could help several people by which their lives are transformed and changed.
Orphanage & School Project

Many of our rural villages neither have any schools nor any educational facilities. Most of the children are illiterate. There are so many orphan children in the villages and there is no hope for them. We are in the process of setting up a bigger school and orphanage project in North India. We provide English medium education for the poor and needy children. Along with the school project we are setting up a bigger orphanage facility so that we can accommodate more children. CMI has already found 3 acres of land in the state of Haryana for the school and orphanage project and waiting for the resources to construct buildings so that we can start this project. Our target will be admit 4000 children in our school project and 500 children in the orphanage project. The need is so big as there are no proper education facilities in many of our villages.
